The Eight of Swords shows a bound, blindfolded figure fenced in by swords, yet the way out is clear once you look. You feel trapped, stuck, or powerless, but the cage is largely built by your own thoughts and fears. The restriction is more mental than real. Reversed meaning
Reversed, the blindfold slips and you begin to see your options again. This is the release of self-imposed limits, a shift from victim to agent as you reclaim your power. It can also warn of clinging to the story that you are stuck, so be honest about where you are truly free to move.
